Out and About with GFG

Light nights and slightly warmer weather are the cue GFG have been waiting for to get out and about on a Tuesday evening. A flying visit to Glencruitten woods was our first port of call for natter and a tree-based game of 'Wavo' (or hide and seek to you and me!)
Interspersed with some good video-based sessions exploring aspects and outlooks of Christian faith, GFG's second recent jaunt was on the BIG walk (well about 3 miles - so quite big!).Joined by Donna from Atlantis Youth Work and Stuart, visiting from the Falkirk area, intrepid perambulators made their way around the nearly traditional route from the Well, through Glenshellach to the coast road and back along passed the Kerrera ferry, with only a brief stop for snacks and juice.
Plan C is to head to the island of Kerrera some time in June, so watch this space for more updates of GFG out and about!

A Bit of Bounce in Lochgilphead at Xplore Xtra

Xplore Xtra is about bringing together smaller groups of young folk who enjoy exploring the Christian faith and having a blooming good laugh together. And have a laugh we did in Lochgilphead, in the shape of a very large bouncy castle and young folks from Ardriahaig, Kinlochleven, Lochgilphead, Luing and Oban.
As many discovered, it's hard not to get to know each other on a bouncy castle. Add to the bounce some food, some games and an interactive drama about Jesus and you have a recipe for a great evening together.
Xplore and friends are now looking forward to the final gathering before the summer as once again, we meet on Luing in May, where we hope for beautiful weather and an opportunity to camp out by the sea! We shall see!!!
Mmmm....not pretty Ewen!
